It's my favorite animation!!In the beginning, we can understand why Carl stats his adventure that is my favorite part. I find the descripition about the plot from Wikipedia：

In 1939, Carl Fredricksen is a shy 8-year-old boy who meets an outgoing and rather eccentric girl named Ellie and discovers they share the same interest in adventures as their hero, famed explorer Charles Muntz. Ellie expresses her desire to move her clubhouse to Paradise Falls in South America, a promise she makes Carl swear to keep. Years pass, and Carl and Ellie marry and grow old together in the old house where they first met while making a living as a toy balloon vendor and a zookeeper respectively. Unable to have children, they also try to save up for the trip to Paradise Falls but other financial obligations arise. Just as they finally seem to be able to take their trip, Ellie dies of old age, leaving Carl living by himself, becoming sour and missing his wife terribly. As the years pass, the city grows around Carl's house with construction as he refuses to move. After a tussle with a construction worker over his broken mailbox, the court orders Carl to move into Shady Oaks Retirement Home. Carl comes up with a scheme to keep his promise to Ellie, and uses his old professional supplies to create a makeshift airship using 10,000 helium balloons which lift his house off its foundations. Russell, a Wilderness Explorer trying to earn his final merit badge for "Assisting the Elderly", has stowed away on the porch after being sent on a snipe hunt by Carl the day before.

林肯的〈蓋茨堡演說〉（Gettysburg Address）是史上最著名的演說之一，蓋茨堡是美國賓州的一個小鎮，一八六三年七月，美國南北戰爭中最慘烈的一役就發生在此，雙方總共約五萬人投入戰場，結果近八千人陣亡、超過三萬二千人受傷，為了紀念這場慘烈的戰役，一八六三年十一月十九日，美國蓋茨堡紀念墓園落成，林肯應邀致詞。

林肯只講了短短兩分鐘，以致攝影師在當時還來不及調好機器，只拍下一張照片，林肯的演講就結束了。〈蓋茨堡演說〉全文只有短短不到二百七十二個字，卻影響人類社會一百四十六年，充分展現林肯演說「簡短有力」的風格。

這篇演說強調的「人皆生而平等」、「民有、民治、民享」的觀念，如今已成為所有民主國家的普世價值，法國第五共和憲法，就把林肯說的「民有、民治、民享」寫在其中，就文學價值來說，〈蓋茨堡演說〉亦是英語文學研究中的必讀範本。

全文翻譯如下：
八十七年前，基於對自由的堅信，以及所有人皆生而平等這個信念，我們的先輩開拓者在這片土地上建立了一個新的國家。
現在我們被捲入一場偉大的內戰，這場內戰是對這個國家，以及任何堅信及奠基於這些信念的國家，能否永續長存的一次考驗。今天，我們集會的地點，就是這場戰爭中的一處大戰場。為了使這個國家延續下去，人們在此地獻出他們的生命，我們在此把這個戰場的一部分獻給他們，做為他們靈魂永遠安息之處，這麼做是應該且十分適當的。
但是，從更廣泛的意義上，我們無法再對這塊土地做什麼奉獻、無法再使這塊土地更神聖。那些曾在此地奮戰過的勇士——不論他們目前是活著還是已死，早已使這片土地神聖了，遠超過我們卑微努力所能做的增減。世界不會注意或永遠記得我們在這裡說過什麼，但他們在此地的事蹟卻將永垂不朽。
那些曾在此地奮戰過的人們，他們的志業至今已取得偉大進展，接下來未完成的工作理應由我們這些活著的人來完成，我們應在此獻身給在我們面前未竟的偉大事業：從那些已逝的光榮死者身上，我們要更加致力實現當初他們全心奉獻的理念；我們在此決心使他們的血不會白流；我們要使這個國家在上帝的保佑下得到自由的永生，使這個民有、民治、民享的政府永世長存。

Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent， a new nation， conceived in Liberty， and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.
Now we are engaged in a great civil war， testing whether that nation， or any nation so conceived and so dedicated， can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field， as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.
But， in a larger sense， we can not dedicate -- we can not consecrate -- we can not hallow -- this ground. The brave men， living and dead， who struggled here， have consecrated it， far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note， nor long remember what we say here， but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us the living， rather， to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us -- that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion -- that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain -- that this nation， under God， shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people， by the people， for the people， shall not perish from the earth.

前駐美代表程建人，對這篇名留青史的演說有如下的解讀：
林肯去蓋茨堡演講時，當時的社會，黑奴是大家爭論的話題。他也想到這個問題，但是他在演講時，短短的二百七十二個字中，沒有一個slave（奴隸）這個字，你可以看出來，林肯是如何把他人道的層次提高。
當他演講完的時候，有人當場批評他，說「這是什麼玩意兒？」甚至有人說他違憲！ 但後來也有人讚美林肯，說林肯是「再革命的革命」，等於林肯把美國憲法、獨立宣言，再做了進一步的闡釋。而Jefferson（傑佛遜，美國第三任總統，美國獨立宣言起草人）講「人生而平等」，林肯又給他更進一步的、更具體而崇高的解釋。 事實上他談話裡面就covering slave（包含了奴隸），只是他不直接用這個字來講。他用獨立宣言裡面這句話：人生而平等，這就代表說不分黑、白、藍、綠都含在裡面了。然後他講「of the people， by the people， for the people（民有、民治、民享）」，他的意思就是說政府要為人民做事啊！ 他不直接去講那個字，只要你願意去思考那二百七十二個字，你就得到答案了！他的立場、他的理念、他的看法、他的理想，林肯雖然是很有原則的人，但他也是很sentimental（多愁善感）的人。

歐巴馬他成功的原因，在於他不斷提升。林肯也是。所謂提升不是說做官，而是他的觀念、他的願景。我把他分為五點：第一個，他有vision，有願景之後；第二個，也是個V，vigor（活力）；第三個，value（價值）；然後，virtue（道德）。然後，valor（勇氣）。你有了願景才有hope，才有希望。

Magnatune被美國今日報譽為itunes Store以外，美國音樂產業的另外一個選擇。它收錄了非常多的音樂專輯，類型遍及從古典、爵士、電子、世界音樂、流行音樂、搖滾等。這些音樂都以創用CC「姓名標示-非商業性-相同方式分享」的方式授權。根據Manatune對「非商業性」的認知，學生的作業，免費影片的背景音樂以及影片部落格的使用，甚至是作為個人應徵工作的使用，都是非商業性的例子。

Jamendo
Jamendo是歐洲最大的創用CC授權音樂網站。收錄了來自世界各國音樂的音樂專輯，目前總計26527張專輯 ，遍及各種音樂類型。網站的歌曲都採用創用CC授權，可以免費下載與分享。每一張專輯都有清楚的創用CC授權宣告。有專輯是採用「姓名標示-相同方式分享」，有的則採用「姓名標示-非商業性」或者是「姓名標示-非商業性-相同方式分享」。

這個網站收錄了超過七萬筆的音效檔，您可以在這裡找到開門、打雷、鳥叫、流水的聲音。網站的資源是由網友們所貢獻，網站本身則由Music Technology所維運，Google則為支持廠商之一。網站採用 創用CC「特別取樣」授權，授權的圖示是 。特別取樣的意思是：如果改作、取樣這些音效而成的著作，可以自由散布，不限於非商業的使用。但若是單純的重製分享，則限於非商業性的目的。
